Design Process
As in life, first impressions count! Most of our work comes from recommendations.
However, we like to build collaborative relationships with our clients, we need to be happy to work together. It’s a relationship that we hope will last.
We discuss your project, your needs and objectives. We will also discuss your budget, expectations and timelines.1. Initial Chat & Development
At this stage we will advise you what you can achieve given your budget and time expectations. It provides a plan in which we can develop your ideas, design and scope of works.
If it is appropriate, we will advise if your project should be presented to the council for a “Pre-app” This is a very good way to gauge if what you are planning, can actually be done within your local council guidelines.
We do charge for this.
2. Design Brief
The first stage will involve our initial concepts presented to you along side indicative budgets. This helps us to hone the brief and we can be realistic in the overall approach. We will present some images, sketches and potential product examples to ensure we are all on the same page.
3. Functional LayoutS & Floor Plan
Some of our clients have used finishes and fixtures and artisans or suppliers that they want to use again. We are open to working with any people, information or requirements you have.
We will be discussing all of the elements required, from internal cabinetry to security to external finishing
The more dialogue the better at this stage. We will gather all the information and create detailed lists of your decisions to incorporate into your work schedule.

When we hand over your project we hope that the relationship is not over! Not all projects need it but we are able to provide the following:
An operation and maintenance manual will contain your project documents together with the manuals for all your electronics and other equipment. However, in practice, most people just call us!
Most of all we are there to make sure you are happy.
